Transmission

I'm seeing the same problem. I've got a ~15GB torrent and if it's downloading Transmission will beach ball for a few seconds, then become responsive for a few seconds and loops like this until the torrent is paused. I've downloaded larger files in the past and haven't experienced this problem before ...
