Transmission

Hello everyone,
Transmission daemon (on a headless ubuntu server 12.04) gets stuck on "receiving metadata" and hangs there forever.
After investigating, the peer-port is reported as closed by the web interface.
Opened the port in my firewall, checked it with GRC and other tools and it is reported ...
