Transmission moving downloads before complete.
I have my downloads sorted (via Transmission) into two locations, depending on their state..."Incoming" for incoming downloads, and "Complete" for completed downloads. I'm having a weird issue where, even though a download hasn't been completed, Transmission is moving the downloa...

Is Transmission for the Mac dead?
There hasn't been an update to the application in over a year (sometime in 2014 was the last update). Is development for the Mac dead?

Re: How to completely uninstall Transmission (including pref
UPDATE: Just applied the 10.10 installer to the system again and now things seem back to normal. Just blew Transmission and it's back to default settings.
Thanks,
k.

Re: How to completely uninstall Transmission (including pref
But, when I go to Transmission > Preferences, all my preferences, from the previous install, are still there (download locations, bandwidth settings, etc.). Then your choices are the default ones. Nope, they're not. I have custom folders (on an external drive) for incoming & complete; custom lo...

How to completely uninstall Transmission (including prefs)?
Hey all. Having some issues with Transmission since upgrading to 10.10 and want to "start fresh", but no matter I do, I can't completely get rid of Transmission. In particular, I can't get rid of the preferences, so I can "start fresh". This is what I've attempted: - deleted ~/Li...

Re: Request: Speed Limits based on Groups
I'm going to assume this feature isn't something that a lot of people are interested in (which is understandable). That said, is anyone aware of another BT application that would do something like this? My torrent workflow is nearly fully automated, with managing speed/seed preferences per-torrent b...

Re: Request: Speed Limits based on Groups
Late to the party, but +1 for me!
Transmission automatically grabs my torrents from a couple different custom RSS feeds and I'd love to be able to set the bandwidth depending on the group! I guess this would have to expand preferences for the Bandwidth tab, etc., but it'd be really handy!

Yea, I'd actually found the documentation on editing the plist, but I appreciated your reply none-the-less! I'd actually thought I'd deleted the post.

Set peer listening port from command line?
Does anyone know if it's possible to set the peer listening port (of the regular Mac GUI) from the command line? My VPN provider randomizes my port forwarding per session, which I can pull via the command line, so I'd like to be able to then pass it on to Transmission automatically. Thing is, not su...

Restart Transmission after changing port?
Hello.
After I change the peer listening port, do I need to restart Transmission, or will the changes take affect (with active torrents downloading) without having to restart?
Thanks,
k.
