Transmission

Its still doing the same thing.

To repeat: it drops the uploads/downloads with visual indication the speeds are at zero (I can't be certain it isn't still downloading - this could be a problem with the speed displays). Then I attempt to pause the transfers and it crashes. Here are updated logs ...

it seems fine so far.. I'll post again tomorrow to let you know if it is stable.

I also just found out it seems to work fine when at least one torrent is paused.. which I noticed someone else mentions a few threads down.

Is anyone else finding Transmission really unstable, or do I need to clean out my mac? My download/upload speed drops to zero all the time which I can fix by restarting the app. It also crashes fairly regularly with no apparent pattern.

It could be a problem with a specific torrent I suppose ...

thanks for the replies guys.. I have tried capping uploads before without any luck, and this isn't a recent problem.. it's just something small that's been bugging me for years!

Is it true that transmission would need to update.. stuff.. perhaps make connections with peers sharing the same torrent ...

surfing is rediculously slow while downloading. yes, I know about capping transfer speeds, but in reality, for me anyway, it makes too little a difference.. my browsing speed is impaired even when downloads ...
