I think i can be possible to keep all the UI Model of Transmission.app and just change the model to not 'watch' the local torrent, but torrent from an other server/mac some of people this with the JSON API. If you have jailbroken iPad, it exist some app we do the job. You can find them on Cydia.

Nice idea ! But a really good stuff can be to have an Helper integrated in Transmission.app, which show a menu bar icon with options like yours, drop .torrent files or URL (to add torrent) and to be independent of Transmission.app to auto restart it when it crash, or use like a Daemon app !

Hello, since i update to 2.84, Transmission crash every day on my little OS X server. The problem looks like to come from an UI problem, 'cause the last method call is an drawRect from NSWrapperCellView/NSView.
