Thanks for the your description. I did items 1, 2, and 3. After the restart, the downloads from magnet links started to work for me, too. Go figure.

I have the same problem, using the same version of Transmission and the same OS and starting at about the same time. (Wasn't that about the time Apple released the OS upgrade to 10.9.3?)

I'm not sure how to debug torrent problems but I see that all four of the trackers show these errors: "announce ...
