Explanation of abbreviations in Torrent Titles, please?
Can anyone please direct me to a Key, Guide, or “Dictionary” that helps to define/decode/explain terms & abbreviations such as “MiB,” “XviD,” “FUM,” “HEVC,” “HEVC-PSA,” “SWESUB,” that appear in the title listings of torrents I have seen on so many of the torrent web sites I visit? (3 examples be...

Re: Transmission won't stop showing old "Seeding Complete" alerts on launch
One more thing: performing a complete, in-deptth removal of Transmission fails to fix the problem either. I've removed Transmission and its support folders, then reinstalled. The problem returns without even downloading my first torrent.
It's hardly a major problem - just really annoying.

Re: Transmission won't stop showing old "Seeding Complete" alerts on launch
In response to x190: what the heck are we supposed to do with the links you've included? It may have been fixed in 2.91, but it's back in 2.92 BTW, I've ruled out the Growl app; I've completely removed Growl from my system (including .plist files & related folders). The persistent "Seeding ...

Re: UI Bug
Not only does it use "Apply All," - we can't get it to go back to "pause/resume all" once you change the Toolbar view to Text Only. It gets "stuck."

Re: That little Green Arrow to the right of the Filename
Yeah, I finally realized what it (the green arrow) represented about an hour after the post. I suppose that I should have logged back in to attempt to delete the post.
Well, I already admitted that it was a stupid question. (I'm glad this isn't Facebook )

That little Green Arrow to the right of the Filename
I'm brand new to the forum, but have been puttering with Transmission for about 6 months. It's a stupid question, but, can anyone please tell me what that little Green Arrow to the right of the Filename (main window) is/does? If anything? I clicked it, and it seems to have caused renewed contact wit...

Re: Always asks to accept incoming connections on launch
Pretty sure it's a Mac prob - not a Transmission issue. I ran into this with another app (Miro) a few years ago, and tried some of the fixes listed, except manually deleting the 4 prefs files listed above. After more than a year, and 1 or 2 updates, it went away, but it took 'forever.'

Re: 2.75 crash on quit continues
Have you tried either Onyx, or Leopard Cache Cleaner (NorthernSoftworks dot com) to clean out all of your Mac's caches? Just a suggestion; there's no background on your trouble-shooting steps to-date, and many of us run several versions on older Mac systems without hitches, so it wouldn't hurt to try…
