I mean, why do you think there's no other way. It's just like UNIX after all. Or there's some weird HFS+ limitation?

Sometimes I want to download a magnet-torrent only partially. But Transmission currently doesn't let me postpone downloading until the metadata is retrieved and I select which files I want. Instead I have to deselect files when they are already started downloading, this results in many unwanted bloc...

This is only useful for torrents which contain duplicated files (across torrents), right?
