best way to get season/serial data?

There are torrents with seasons/serials, I wonder what is the best way to get the season number and serial number, so the problem is that there's no guarantee that the torrent file creator has named files or torrent name correctly, I mean something like ...

for example i've added a torrent file to watch-dir with an id in his name like
