The strip command did the job, they are now "normal" size and happily working.

Build from Source (2.93)
I'm not very fimiliar with building from source, but I gave it a go on my Centos 6 box. I ended up with binary files 10 times larger than the current 2.92 files (installed from Geekery). Did I do something wrong ? Is there an option I should be setting, i'm sure these should not be 10x bigger. Alter...
