The problem is that my computer get's slow and instable. Maybe this memory issue is unrelated but no other app acts like this. I'm not sure Transmission releases the RAM correctly. It's just that Transmission is one of my favorite apps I don't want to have to switch to Azuerus or uTorrent. Transmission is the best bittorent client on any plattform IMHO. I understand the developers are working as hard as they can on this.

I have tried turning off automatic port forwarding with the latest nightly build (6955) and this problem still remains. When I left my laptop with Transmission and some torrents active OS X had 2.5 gb of free ram. After one evening Transmission had eaten up everyting and only 10 mb was left. This is...
