Hi all,
My NAS had been using 2.94. Now it got updated to 3.0 and I can't connect remotely with transgui or any other programs. I honestly don't know what's wrong. Everything should be the same, right? How can I fix this problem? I'm out of ideas. Thanks!

Re: Is Transgui abandoned?
I do use transgui; it seems like there is development, but it's extremely slow. I had problems on Ubuntu Jammy with transgui until I got an updated deb file directly from someone. The Arch package still works.
MyCloud
Hi all, I have a MyCloud EX2 Ultra. I am running Transmission 2.94 on it, using the built-in installer. I'd love to be able to update this transmission to the latest 4.0. Does anybody know I can get a package of the latest Transmission for this device? I know that other apps (such as plex or elephan...

Re: Which Transmission to download
EDIT: MyCloudEX2 actually uses 2.94, not 2.96. (The version of the installer that it uses is numbered 1.15).
Anybody know how to upgrade to 3.0? Thanks!

Which Transmission to download
Hi all, I'm trying to figure out which NAS version to download for my device. I have a MyCloudEX2 Ultra. The firmware currently comes with a daemon, Transmission 2.96. I would really like to upgrade to the newer version (several of my torrents returned errors when loading into the program). Unfortun...

Transmission as regular user on NAS?
Hi all, OK so I am running a transmission daemon on my NAS. The NAS is a Western Digital MyCloudEx2 Ultra. It comes with Transmission 2.94 that is installable through the NAS itself. The problem is that it is running as the root user. Any files and folders that get created/downloaded through Transmi...

Re: Transmission says that drive is full
OK, so I'm making progress. I need to change the location where transmission looks for the configuration files. I was able to locate the transmission installation files using SSH. It seems like the following command will change the directory where transmission looks for the configuration files to th...

Re: Transmission says that drive is full
Do not uninstall/reinstall transmission, as it will solve nothing. My best guess is that the permissions/owner/group need changing. It seems that as I added torrent after torrent and got past 2000 torrents, the "root" directory, which is not allocated a ton of space, began to fill up on t...

Transmission says that drive is full
Hi all, Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I am using Transmission 2.94 on my MyCloudEX2Ultra. The NAS is 8 TB. I have nearly 5 TB of space free on the drive. The drive has 2 hard drives set up as one volume in a Raid configuration. Last night, Transmission stopped downloading onto my ...
