I am using Transmission 4.0.6 (38c164933e) on 2017 iMac 27" 5K Monterey 12.7.x latest

Torrent starts with 8-12 full seeders, a few bytes, then zero, then stops then starts again over and over. After about 5-10 minutes high transfer rates begin and continue as normal.

What is going on? How come so many "false" starts?

When I start a torrent, I get a list of many CLIENTS (ten or more full seeders) that show 0 data transfer, then they all disappear, then reappear, then disappear, and finally after a long time, start to send data

This is very frustrating and time consuming

What am I doing wrong?
