Looking at the source, it controls what is displayed in the torrent list, but I haven't seen it make a difference yet.

Re: Does queue order affect simultaneous downloads
I see. On the Mac it's called Transfer Priority and is somewhat hidden in the inspector. Thanks!

Does queue order affect simultaneous downloads
When two torrents are downloading simultaneously, will bandwidth be distributed based on queue order? Assuming the connection is saturated.
It doesn't seem to be consistent which one is faster, but of course that may just be the seeds.

Which direction is queue order
When I Sort Transfers By > Queue Order only Ascending is available. Be that as it may, what does it mean? Does the bottom or the top of the screen represent higher priority?

Overwrites its own files
I downloaded two different torrents which happened to have the same single filename. My queue settings meant that there was no activity overlap. At the end I only had one file, with the content of the second torrent.

Re: Finder integration broken
That wouldn't explain why I can right now alternately launch the two Transmission versions to have it either work or not.livings124 wrote:it's possible the private framework being used changed.

If it was disabled I wouldn't see the empty windows I mentioned. It's 10.5.8

Finder integration broken
As of one of the last releases the Finder integration of the inspector window seems broken.
"Show in Finder" works for torrents but not for individual files.
Quick Look for files shows an empty window.
Or is it my Finder? Quick Look works everywhere else!

Re: OSX 10.5.6 won't remember firewall settings for T 1.50b2
Yes, from time to time the Leopard firewall re-asks permission for Transmission. The binary has definetly not changed (no update) and the account I use does not even have write permissions on it. The alert is also in discrepancy with the firewall prefPane, which displays Transmission as allowed.
