I've made progress.

After unsuccessfully trying to find the files through Terminal I downloaded a nifty little app called AppTrap which pulls all of the associated files into the trash with an application when you delete it. Now I've got some of the files you mentioned.

I know it sounds crazy, but those files are nowhere on my system. I didn't set up Transmissions in any unusual way. I'm a power user, too. I seed about 1tb a day.

Further, Transmission is acting strangely.

No matter if I delete and download another Transmission program, no matter if I keep it in ...

Ah, I should mention that I also turned 'on' my hidden files and did a search with the finder. They weren't there, either.

I looked for those files. They're not in my system. I went into Time Machine and couldn't find them there in the past, either. I'm guessing Transmission does something different with Lion ...

It seems the search I put forth stayed in the search bar, thus limiting what I could see. Funny that it stayed even after a shut down. Thanks for pointing out what should have been more obvious to me.

Bizzarly, yesterday evening all of the active torrents disapeared from view but were there and up/downloading. I could double click over a space and the torrent inspector opened with no information visible: It's as if everything went invisible. Truly strange.

My iMac did it's automatic update and ever since Transmissions has stopped or gone at a 1kb rate. I'm not sure what the issue is. Anyone heard of anything like this or have a suggestion on what to do?

I updated my Transmissions this evening and my upload and download rate have crashed to near zero. I've tried opening new ports, restarting the computer, unplugging the externals and nothing gets me back to speed. Before the update I was uploading 4MB and downloading 3-6MB, now I'm around 10KB ...
