Transmission

About ready to give up onTransmission. Current version, latest OS.
Downloads for a few minutes, then quits itself. Reopen and nothing will not connect to
tracker, won't download. Have to restart the computer. Then it starts all over again.
Pretty much useless.

yea yea yea...me too....reboot and/or restart router and things pick up for a short time....then back to dragging.

I have an iMac; 10.8.4....running transmission 2.81

I am an American living in China.

For years Transmission has worked great. I have a good connection to the net.....browsing and direct downloading works just fine.

3 days ago Transmission went nuts. I can usually get an average download speed ...

I don't know how else to provide. No mater what sites, what trackers what item.....nothing from nowhere downloads.

As I said...I can see peers, trackers, the files; it just does not go.

That link is of no help. Everything seems to be in order it just won't go.

uTorrent works just fine. I would rather use Transmission.
