I have the same issues, although I am using an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station (AEBS). No matter what I do I cannot get the green light. Downloads still occur but i think they could be faster.

I have been using Transmission for a long time...thanks for developing this great product. In the past, I had no trouble getting a green light "port is open" but lately I cannot get it no matter what I do. I tried mapping the port in the AEBS to 9090, as well as other ports. I tried other ...
