You probably don't have an issue, the site that checks if the port is open is malfunctioning. Try to enter the port used by Transmission on http://canyouseeme.org and check it that way.

Same problem here, canyouseeme.org and grc.com report the port as open and DL/UL speeds seem fine, but Transmission shows that it's closed. Transmission 2.75, Mac OS X 10.8.2
