Re: move a whole disk of files
I don't really know, but I would GUESS -- assuming you're going from one external to another external drive which is to be plugged into the same Mac -- that if you cloned the external to a new drive and gave the new drive the same name as the old drive - then unplugged (or maybe renamed) the old dri...

Re: View-->Availability problem in 2.30b3, 2.30b2.
Will do, x190! I'll report back here.
Thanks for the info!! I was in a seed-only cycle and kinda forgot about it for awhile.

[FIXED] View-->Availability problem in 2.30b3, 2.30b2
I'm running v.2.30b3 on OSX 10.5.8 on an Intel core 2 duo iMac. I noticed that my 4 actively downloading torrents were only showing blue and red colors in T's main window. That was fine for two of them - as they were not downloading due to unavailability (i.e. partially complete with no seeds). The ...

v.2.30b1 problem
I've been seeding 3 at a time from a queue of torrents. I've found that v. 2.30b1 does not always stop seeding at the seeding limit ratio set in the advanced tab of Inspector. On at least 2 occasions I've had it run right past the limit and continue seeding. This version of Trans will also sometimes...

Request re: New 'Remove transfers' button/icon
It would be nice if there was an option to remove the "Remove transfers that have completed seeding" button - or at least to move it elsewhere in the interface. The button is a bit too close to the "Speed Limit" button that I do use on occasion, and I'm afraid might hit it by mis...

Re: Another v.2.22 oddness...anyone else notice this?
Transmission shows the number of "Known" peers at the very bottom of the Peers page in Torrent Inspector. Once the number goes up to 210, it will always revert to 210. For example, when I start seeding a torrent that already shows "210 known" and Transmission starts picking up ad...

v.2.22 oddness...anyone else notice this?
I've been downloading a foreign TV series - mostly one at a time, occasionally 2 concurrently, each episode being a separate torrent 700-800MB in size. The following happened to me twice: An episode would finish and the next would start - all in accord with the active transfer settings in Transmissi...

Re: Ratio
Just out of curiosity, what do you mean when you say "...my ratio was 4.84"? Is this a ratio reported by Transmission or by some private tracker?
I ask because you later said "I've been seeding this stuff over a week now so I think it's had time for the tracker to work?"

Re: Blocklist URL
1. Can I block an individual IP address by using TextEdit to add a line at the end of the .txt file in the "comment:IP#" format? Format should be Peer:x.x.x.x-x.x.x.x, i.e. in the form of a range even for one IP. Restart Transmission to parse and load this list. You should see the list na...

Re: Blocklist URL
Thanks, x190! So T can handle multiple blocklist .bin files, huh? I'll give the blocklist method a try at the next opportunity -- although I'm currently in what will be a fairly lengthy "seed only" cycle. I'll report back here after I give it a shot. Regarding which blocklist: Gotcha - wil...

Re: Blocklist URL
When adding blocklists manually unzip the file first and put the .txt file in the blocklist folder. You should then get a populated .bin file on Transmission restart. whatever is buggy in the app's update code. The problems may be on Bluetacks end. I prefer to use iBlocklist. Also, I find it is bes...
