I just downloaded Transmission's last beta version but it crashes every time I try to launch it, I had the same issue with 2.30b1.

Hi !
Transmission takes over 1 minute to launch since the version 1.80. I just downgraded to version 1.76 and it works fine again, the launching lasts about 3 seconds.
I know many people having the same issue, we're all using the french localisation but I guess it doesn't really matter.

Since v1.80, I takes more than 1 minute to launch Transmission on my iMac with OS 10.6.2, is it normal ? Many other users noticed this problem on Mac4Ever, see the links below (in french) :
