To recreate:
1 Open a Transmission standard window and open the inspector.
2 Open another app in a different Space than Transmission and give the new app it focus.
3 Switch to Transmission by clicking on the Dock icon or Cmd+Tab.
Focus will always switch to the inspector. Using the Dock icon, the ...

Re: Create Torrent from iTunes PlayList
Although the Media Browser makes playlists behave like folders, they are not folders.
This isn't something Transmission can do. Apple could do it or a third party app could - Make virtual folders where each file corresponds to an item with a given iTunes playlist. MacFuse would hypothetically be ...

Re: Is Transmission accurate about speeds?
Now I know Transmission is lying. To replicate:
1 Start downloading a large torrent with multiple files
2 Have one file totally downloaded and another file incomplete
3 Pause all other torrents
4 Be sure Status Bar is visible
5 After the torrent has a steady speed, uncheck all the unfinished files ...

Is Transmission accurate about speeds?
As noted here http://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7486 Transmission can behave strangely when coming off of Speed Limit. My theory is that Transmission isn't actually honoring the speed limit entirely, it just says it is. Meanwhile, it's still downloading above the speed limit (but ...

Import Finder label names
Since Transmission defaults to use the same label colors as the Finder, why not import the label names from the Finder too the first time Transmission runs? It would be very easy. The names are stored in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.labels.plist

Further group options
Love the new group options! But why not include others like
[*]Setting priority
[*]Setting upload/download speed
[*]Auto start or pause
And assigning other criteria like
[*]If download has completed

Re: Quicklook torrents
Actually, this is possible. QuickLook supports plugins for filetypes not natively supported by QuickLook. I know a good one was written for zip files.

Re: Speed up coming off Speed Limit
I have this same issue. My theory is that Transmission isn't actually honoring the speed limit entirely, it just says it is. Meanwhile, it's still downloading above the speed limit (but probably much lower than the natural normal speed). When coming off speed limit, Transmission is suddenly counting ...

Re: Transmission RSS companion
I've tried Notifier with torrents now and so far so good. Especially with Transmission's new ability auto-group based on name and then send the finished download to a custom folder.

Re: Transmission RSS companion
Another option similar to Automatic is Reader Notifier:
