I can't use Azureus or Vuze. They crash MAC OSX all the time.
I'll stick with Transmission and I recommend you do too.

Put your log level to debug. Restart Transmission. Open your log and see if you get a message that port has been successfully forwarded.

On mine too, the port status shows "Port is closed". I'm not worried though since I transfers are downloading at reasonable speed.

I have been using T1.34+ (6960). I observe that this is much better. I still notice that at times, the total upload / download speed is more than the one displayed for the individual downloads. The ETA is much better with this build then the previous T1.34+ nightly builds.

Today I downloaded the latest nightly and I am going to check the missing data with it. My first observations:
a) The speed fluctuates a lot and therefor the ETA of a download.
