Re: Native iPhone app for remote managing Transmission developed
It's available, however looking at the screenshots I notice that the app simply loads the web interface. Not necessarily a problem, but in combination with it being a Cydia app and non-free, I'll pass. Once it has a native iPhone UI using RPC calls instead of the web interface, I'll think about purc...

Re: Native iPhone app for remote managing Transmission developed
I tried Transdroid on my girlfriend's HTC Magic, that works fantastic! Integrated search for several torrent sites, simply tap one result and it sends the torrent to your headless Transmission server.
Hopefully, some day, something like this will pop up for iPhones...

Re: Transmission 1.73 Released!
I still have the problem. And actually, I didn't try moving stuff around either. I just add a torrent and boom, it crashes. Back to 1.72 for me... I think I must be misreading this post. You're using a 1.73 derivative with someone else's patches in it, but you're reporting the bug here? :) You're r...

I haven't seen problems like that with the daemon, adding torrents and managing them through the Web client and also through the Qt application. Could y...

Re: Transmission 1.73 Released!
This one crashes all the time on my CH3SNAS :( Don't know if it has anything to do with it, but this is the last entry of the log: /ffp/bin/transmission-daemon: torrent.c: 2349: tr_torrentCheckMoveCompleted: Assertion `tr_isTorrent( tor )' failed. edit: Seems the move-completed patch wrecked some ha...

Re: Transmission 1.61 Released!
Transmission 1.61 will hang almost every time I select a torrent file (that's being downloaded) and choose "remove all files". Force quitting won't help, not even killing it through the terminal. Ah maybe that's it then. I noticed a lot of transmission-daemon processes doing nothing (more...

Re: Native iPhone app for remote managing Transmission developed
And that's exactly why Cydia was made! So why not put it on there?

Re: Transmission 1.61 Released!
It seems that the high CPU usage bug is reintroduced in 1.61... My CH3SNAS has had one transmission-daemon running at 100% several times now, which didn't happen with 1.60.

Re: Here it (almost) is: an iPhone specific Web UI
Very nice work! Some thoughts: - When clicking a torrent, show file list first, instead of details - I don't really like the priority icons. Maybe use green and red for high and low priority? - What happens when a torrent has multiple trackers? - I liked the category bar from the current iPhone inte...

Re: Updated: Transmission 1.50 Beta 5
some torrents stalls with apparently no peers. Restarting Transmission gets it going again and peers magically reappear. 1.50b5 LEOPARD 10.5.6. I've had the exact same problem several times with Transmission 1.42 on a CH3SNAS. Existing torrents don't download anymore, new torrents don't start. Rest...

Couldn't you post the .ipa for those who'd like to check it out? (such as myself )

Re: WebUI with file list - now fully functional
The new interface looks very nice, although I'm not sure if the new (smaller) buttons aren't too difficult to touch on an iPhone. I think it'll be alright though and it certainly looks a lot better

Re: WebUI with file list - now fully functional
Absolutely fantastic work on the web interface! :) However, I use the iPhone interface even more... and now I'm really missing the pause/remove buttons. Any news on that? And while I'm at it: any plans to extend the iPhone interface as well? I can imagine that it's possible to create a neat interfac...

Re: Make iPhone version launch as SSB
Now the only thing remaining is the status bar in the bottom of the screen. It's not entirely at the bottom when you load the web interface as SSB (ie. through a springboard shortcut)
