Transmission

These questions above are crucial and have not been answered anywhere on the Internet. Basically, I can't figure out how to update Transmission to the lastest 4.0.5 and overwrite the old version with all my torrents remaining intact. Any suggestion?

Thanks for your reply. The files are all in the same folder, but most are shown within v.3. There should be a way to transfer to v.4 without having to single click and verify each .torrent. Copying both the .torrent and .resume files to their new locations could be a solution to the problem. Do you ...

I just installed the new Transmission v.4 on my Qnap NAS alongside v.3.
How can I transfer all my torrent files from v.3 to v.4?

I would definitely like to see several schedules implemented in Transmission Remote GUI!

Transmission Gui (4.0.3) is sometimes showing ratio improperly on my system (10.8.2).
Any thought on why and/or how to correct this?

Transmission works well on my Qnap 219P II. Make sure you are using latest firmware and softwares.

My configuration:
Qnap firmware: version 3.7.3 Build 20120801
Transmission: 2.61-b18
Optware: 0.99.163

Same problem with 1.90. I must relauch Transmission for torrent to start downloading.

Hi, have you been able to resolve this issue? I face the exact problem. I have 1.83 installed on my NMT and was working perfectly till recently. I am pretty sure now that 1.83 does not allow the private tracker to see me. I switched back to 1.76 and right away, my name appears in the list of seeders/leechers.

I'm looking at the network traffic to the trackers with tcpdump right now... and there is none. 1.83 does not even send queries to the trackers—which explains why it doesn't get any responses. Is the fact that I am getting the "Scrape Error: Tracker did not respond" message on all my files related to my problem mentioned above?
Also, when I am quiting, Transmission stops abruptly without hanging at all.
