Re: How do I change URL on transmission?
I think you're on the right track - remove the old url, add the new one. If the new url doesn't work, that's another matter: check your Message Log (Command-3 - debug level).

Re: Transmission will not connect to any Peers
Did you try the Freenas forum? Did you go through all the steps listed in my post above? Software generally doesn't just quit working without reason. What have you, or your provider, changed recently? Have you checked Transmission's logfile? Are announces successful?

Re: Transmission Remote GUI not working unless transmission-daemon is reloaded
2.92 is the latest version. TRGui is a third-party app. I think there's a .service file change that causes transmission to not start until the network is up. https://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18307&p=74745&hilit=.service#p74745 https://github.com/transmission/transmission/blob/4c0...

Re: Download is aborted immediately after starting - won't restart
Error messages can be found in the 'Activity' window of the Inspector and in the Message Log (Command-3 - debug level). Due to the upgrade a clean install might help. #1 Move the following folders/files to your Desktop for later disposal. ~/Library/Application Support/Transmission (.torrent files ca...

Look at the service file.what config file the original (I.e. service transmission-daemon start) is calling.

That would be the source of the 'extra' traffic.
