Transmission

What version of Ubuntu are you using, as I believe the distros cap out at certain upgrade versions in each distro. Try using the karmic ppa or repos.

Also,make sure your Software sources and make sure Unsupported ( Backports) are enabled listed then try again.

Looks great to me. The fails could've been bad pieces, but the bittorrent protocol has checks for this and will re-request the pieces.

On a sidenote that UI design looks beautiful.

Unfortunately, I dont think so. We may it see it down the line tho, I think they give the Mac version of the client the latest and greatest features, before they hit Linux.

i used to notice issues exiting the client. Though, it seems like this only happened when i had a massive torrent list or massive data transfers. It normally took no longer than 30 secs or so to exit. I dont know a fix for it but you can always try starting transmission with a different config direc...

What vesion you using the last few versions should have "Verify Local Data" which is basically the "Hash Check" in the right-click context menu. Just checked and everything after Transmission 1.10 should have "Verify Local Data" which is the equivalent to Force Re-check...
