Re: Daemon keeps getting disconnected [daemon]

It could be an issue on the the PC side, I am just saying I have seen similar issues when routers get flooded and crashing however you normally notice other things not working when that happens. Did you increase your global connections settings or anything higher than the defaults ?

Re: Daemon keeps getting disconnected [daemon]

Where are you collecting your stats from? If you are behind a router that is doing NAT it could be crashing when it runs out of memory.

Re: File priority system isn't really a priority system

part of it is also how bittorent works.. not all of the peers you are connected with will have the parts you want the most so they will give you the parts they have but you don't... since bittorent seeds naturally try and spread out who has what your priority downloads will download a little faster ...

Re: why does transmission dominate our internet bandwidth

1. Turn off transmission and try and make sure no other computers are downloading on your network. 2. Go to speedtest.net and find out your ACTUAL upload and download speed. 3. Limit your upload to about half that reported by speedtest.net and your download to at least 10% less. 4. As already stated...

Re: A memory cache, pleeeeeeeeeease!!!

Seems like a this patch has been available and maintained for a long time now without making it into the main code base... Seems like a no brainier to me it should also reduce file fragmentation a little.

Re: Select download folder from web client (diff attached)

I wonder if it will work on the iPhone Mobile Interface as well. The layout is significantly different from the default UI.

Did you submit this as a ticket, I think that is the preferred method of submitting changes like this.

I am looking forward to this feature if it is accepted.

Re: Transmission / Optware / ARM9 LinkStation Live v2 / 2.10

I mostly run it as installed by optware. Only changes where to setup the start up script and change the user it was running under.

Re: Max active downloads setting?

Seems like this has been worked on for some time. This is also one of the biggest differences i have seen between transmission and other clients i have used. Without an active torrent limit all download seem to just get slower the more torrents are active. This should be a big improvement for those ...

Re: GUI frontends to access the daemon?

I'll post you a pic if you tell me how to do it. I'm on Snow leopard, and it is buggy compared to my windows version, I have found out that you need to quit it from the top menu or it wont run more than once. I like the web menu and use that more, but there are some settings that you cant do from t...

Re: swarmscreen

Sounds like a way to flood / knockout most cheap home routers buy filling the NAT table with useless connections. This already happens under normal use for some people.

Re: GUI frontends to access the daemon?

Looks almost the same, it is a bit buggy under osx (seems to have problems in snow leapard) vs windows but it works well enough.

Re: Things I would like to see in the web UI

It has been requested before, but I would love to have a SAVE TO path option on the same screen that appears when adding a new torrent.. Downloading to the default path or editing the default path to do this is annoying.

Re: Delete with data

I have a HTC Hero with android on it and use a program that's callled transdriod... With that I can remove and delete data. So maybe you have to find another program to your iphone that have this function built in The only way to access transmission from a "non-jailbroken" iPhone is via t...
