Re: Random crashes

You don't have to wait if it crashed before. All recent crash reports are accessible via Applications -> Utilities -> Console application: show the sidebar if it's hidden and expand User Diagnostic Reports there.

Re: Random crashes

Do all crash reports contain the same info for "Thread ... Crashed:" as in this one? ... Application Specific Information: Assertion failed: (!b->bits || (b->true_count == countArray (b))), function tr_bitfieldIsValid, file /Users/transmission/jenkins/workspace/trunk-mac/libtransmission/bi...

Re: Transmission on buffalo root permissions to delete

... Buffalo tech support said I can only delete the files through Transmission ... That doesn't sound right. There's no way Transmission is able to create files that you can't remove w/o it afterwards. What is the actual error message you're getting? Are you able to rename those files? Are you able...

Re: transmission watch-dir not working with network share

It most probably uses inotify (you're on Linux after all). And yes, it's probably true that it won't work on anything but local filesystems (don't know about NFS though), see e.g. this SO question . There was some work done on improving watch capabilities of transmission-daemon by @missionsix and me...

Re: Unable to compile nightly since some time (upgraded to Jessie)

Check that your daemon/Makefile.am contains these lines at the end: if WIN32 transmission_daemon_SOURCES += daemon-win32.c else transmission_daemon_SOURCES += daemon-posix.c endif If it doesn't then you probably didn't merge correctly at some point. Revert the file and re-apply you changes (if any).

Re: Download is broken

Out of curiosity, did path to file even removely resemble the one in your first post?

P.S. You may want to report the issue to TrQtW project (I presume that's where you downloaded the installer from) on SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/trqtw/support).

Re: Download is broken

Use an utility like WinDirStat (http://windirstat.info/) to see what is using the space.

Re: After install how to remove disk?

Do not run the application from inside this DMG. Drag-drop it into your Applications folder and run it from there. Then you'll be able to eject the DMG the usual way (drag-drop it into the Trash).

"Preferences" (Cmd+,) -> "Transfers" -> "Management" tab -> "Play sound:" -> "When seeding completes:" checkbox.

Re: Download is broken

You could stop being so impulsive for starters.

Try just "%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%/Downloads" (which would be something like C:\Users\<your name>\Downloads). If it's not the location either, you could always try searching the computer (F3 or Win+F or somehow else).

Re: Trac local naming policy?

Try choosing yet another username maybe? Don't know that is wrong with this one, might be spam filter-related or something.

Re: Trac local naming policy?

I would suspect that username shouldn't include spaces at least.
