Re: Transmission freezing after Yosemite upgrade
Thanks, that's some valuable info. Please re-upload the zip file though, to conform with forum rules (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3415).

Re: File relocation and torrent content selection
In web UI, open settings menu (bottom-left corner) and select "About".

Re: File relocation and torrent content selection
It seems to me that you're using some old-ish version of Transmission. Latest one is 2.84 and it has "Set Location..." context menu item (mentioned by x190) and checkboxes next to filenames in torrent inspector panel. Can't say when those features were added though.

Re: Transmission freezing after Yosemite upgrade
If I were you guys I'd send those reports directly to Apple. There is no way such a simple program as Transmission, which didn't change the way it operates since 10.9 (or even earlier versions) should cause system to hang, crash or whatever. This is a regression in operating system itself if it's un...

Re: Crash on OSX - Transmission 14481 - EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)
I see I suggested "!tor->isRunning" without its counterpart "tor->isStopping". Sorry about that. Maybe you could re-open #5407 and add that bit. Done ( r14483 ). I also found one place I didn't change in the commit in question that lead to `-EINVAL` being treated as valid socket...

What about 14478? I wasn't able to reproduce myself yet BTW.

@victorhooi, could you try previous revisions to see when this all started?

Re: Crash on OSX - Transmission 14481 - EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)
Hmm, I'm not getting it. I thought those were invalid checks, since 0 is a perfectly valid value for a socket and -1 is the invalid one. If you look through the old code, udp_socket and udp6_socket variables (specifically) are being compared as `s < 0` (announcer-udp.c) `s >= 0`, `s > 0`, `s < 0` (t...

Looks related to recent changes in r14479. I'll take a look when I'm home unless someone else will get ahead of me.

Check if your daemon is being started with -ep/--encryption-preferred command line option.

Re: Bus error on sh4
What revision of Transmission are you using (written in braces after version when you execute `transmission-daemon --version`)? Since you want to file a bug report that much, could you try other (higher and lower) revisions to try and find the one which doesn't crash? Could you also try compiling li...

Re: Running python script when download completes
Try to either setup environment properly by using "#!/usr/bin/env sh" shebang instead of "#!/bin/sh", or use full path to python executable e.g. "/usr/bin/python". Another good way to debug would be to redirect all the output to a file, something like #!/bin/sh python /...

Re: Transmission consistently stops working
Try turning curl debug log on to see what's going on there (from Terminal): TR_CURL_VERBOSE=1 /Applications/Transmission.app/Contents/MacOS/Transmission > /tmp/debug.log 2>&1 If it's not helpful, try turning Transmission debug log as well (this will generate a lot more output): TR_DEBUG_FD=1 TR_...

Re: Transmission consistently stops working
Some sources also suggest that it could be connected to IPv6 addresses lookup somehow. In particular, http://aplawrence.com/MacOSX/firefox_google.html states that flushing the DNS cache, disabling IPv6 or adding some ISP-provided DNS servers helps (the page is a bit old though).
