Re: Transmission is killing my IPTV

I'm having problems when QUITTING transmission. It seems to knock the router off line entirely. Sometimes it has even nuked the router settings. In all cases I have to completely shut down all computers on the network, and power cycle the cable & the router, to get back on the internet. I have 3...

remember tracker urls / passkeys

when uploading a torrent, it would be nice to have a drop down menu to choose the torrent tracker / passkey url. It remembers the last used one but not multiple ones. thanks.

Export / Copy Paths

Hi... thanks for listening to all my ideas here -- just making the switch from Azureus to this wonderful client and have some ideas. The request is for some way to get a text file list of paths of all data files and corresponding torrent files, either overall or by group. The purpose of this is main...

Move Data File To (glitch/conflict/request)

Glitch: When selecting Move Data File To in File menu, then selecting a folder, the Finder's Choose Folder pane remains open with the "Select" button highlighted until the move completes. It seems this pane should close first and a progress bar from transmission should show up. Conflict: N...

Re: How can I archive torrent files?

Just piping in here... I would also like to see an option to archive the .torrent file to a specific folder instead of trashing original. FYI, they are kept in ~/Library/Application Support/Transmission/Torrents/ so in a sense that's good enough. still i would like the option of moving the original ...

Re: Tracker-Specific features requests

Thanks for the quick reply... Encouraged some of this already in consideration. A couple of comments: 1 is interface bloat. 2 will be possible in 1.60 (for Mac, at least). 3 and/or 4 might happen sooner or later. 5 probably won't happen. 6 will be possible in 1.60 (for Mac, at least). You can try ou...

Re: How do you transfer seeding from one client to another?

well i finally made the transition to transmission and it took me a full day to reseed about 200 of the 600 torrents i had seeding in azureus. as mention above this is largely because my data files were spread over several volumes. here are some tips i found to speed up the process: 1. in azureus, i...

Tracker-Specific features requests

Hi.... One of the realities of the torrent world is that we need to maintain good ratios on the trackers we use. Therefore trackers are really important in a lot of ways. Here are a few related feature requests: 1. show the tracker domain in the summary info for the torrent without needing to use th...

Re: How do you transfer seeding from one client to another?

I too would like to transfer everything from Azureus. However this is a hugely tedious process. My data files are all over several volumes, but my torrent files are generally in one location (on yet another volume). Surely the information for the data file path is kept somewhere by azureus. presumab...
