Re: Transmission Big Sur Issues

Transmission v3.0 was solid on Big Sur and continues to be on Monterey, with Intel and M1 machines.

I have been a longtime Transmission user but recently have tried qBittorrent and BiglyBT in hopes their M1 (macOS) native support would be the real deal. Aaaannnnddddd, once again I come back to Transmission. Good ol' Transmission. Rock solid Transmission. Once again I'm feeling grateful and so dona...

Re: Transmission Big Sur Issues

For whatever it might be worth, I'm merrily running Transmission v3.0 on Big Sur on an M1 iMac. 1,248 torrents.

Any chance to make everything bigger? Or give users options?

My glorious display makes me want to get a magnifying glass. Hmmmm. Seriously. Might just do that.

What am I looking at?

For many many years on many different machines I have used Transmission only for Hit&Runs. On my full-time torrenting machine I first used Azureus, then uTorrent, then qBittorrent. I am now taking a serious look at Transmission for all my trackers. This relative n00bie is wondering what he's loo...

Transmission on M1 machines

Getting an M1 iMac in a couple weeks and am wondering about your M1/Transmission experiences.

Does the current version work on M1 Macs at least through Rosetta 2?
