Transmission is by far the best bittorrent client out there for any platform let alone Mac. I mean Jesus Christ. When I first used it it pissed me off because I wasn't used to the interface. I hardly gave it a chance. I went to utorrent for mac. Soon I noticed my system acting weird if I left utorrent on for a while (huge memory usage, refused to quit). I've been using Transmission for 2 weeks now and haven't had any problems so far. Transmission is a rock! After getting used to the interface (about 15 minutes) it's beautiful. If you own a Mac and use torrents there's absolutely no reason to use any other client especially since transmission is open source. I love you guys.

I agree transmission is great. I think it's the best bittorrent client out there. I run it headless on a NAS. So I only use the web interface. If you know how to do some web development, you can create your very own web interface.
