I created a project on Github related with notifications when a download is done. You can create your custom notification sender such as: Push Notifications, E-mail and others.

Thank you for your feddback. I think that the link you provided is the same thing I created. The diference between my project and the script you provided on the link is that my project allows you to have many notification senders.
The installation is done in the same way.

I will create a tutorial to explain how user should install the https://github.com/rmrodrigues/transmis ... ifications and all will be more simple and easy.

**Comming soon will be available a notification sender for Android.
