I' running debian 7 with transmission daemon.
I added transmission-daemon to a group called media
Folder has persmission 775 and the group it belongs to is media.
When folder is 777 the daemon can write to the folder.
For some reason transmission-daemon isn't allowed to write to the folder anyway.
Any idea why this doesn't work?
