Possible To Remove One Torrent and Start the Next?

Post by rebeltaz » Sun Jan 08, 2017 10:41 pm

On occasion I will have need to download multiple torrents, however I have very limited bandwidth. I will have only one download running at a time and when that one completes, I will remove that and start the next one. That requires me to keep a constant eye on transmission, though. Is there any way (script?) that can remove each torrent as it completes and start the next one paused in line?

[edit]
I guess I should note that I run transmission under Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with transgui installed on a remote Ubuntu 16.04 LTS laptop.

https://github.com/transmission/transmi ... es#queuing

Queuing

download-queue-enabled: Boolean (default = true) When true, Transmission will only download download-queue-size non-stalled torrents at once.
download-queue-size: Number (default = 5) See download-queue-enabled.

I believe I have found the problem... the transmission I am running on the main system is v1.93. Apparently these settings hadn't been invented yet. I'll try to upgrade, but I'm not sure if it'll run under 10.04. Thanks for the response.
