where is the Response Code decoder?

Post by TheoThistle »

I looked in the help section, in the forums, and wiki. If I overlooked the answer, it was not for lack of trying.

Why do my seeded torrents randomly give me error codes, such as Tracker gave HTTP response code 403 (Forbidden).

Is there a list of error codes? Am I supposed to know what that means?

Also....I am brand new to the whole torrenting thing. I was wondering what the Bandwith and Connections settings might be, for someone using a Mac laptop, on a home network? I don't know what numbers to put in for the limits.

Lastly, I tried submitting a ticket, but keep getting told my user name and/or password are incorrect. I am using the user name and password I use here in the forum, because I don't recall using any other user . name and password.

Sure, they are standard HTTP status codes. See https://www.restapitutorial.com/httpstatuscodes.html for example. Code 418 is the only one that matters anyway.

Thanks for your reply and the helpful link. It seems I was making all of this harder than necessary, and the torrents are working fine now.
