I recently upgraded my Lubuntu to the latest LTS version, and doing that I choose to delete the old version of Lubuntu, wiping my hard drive.
All the files I downloaded are saved in an external hard drive, but I believe the torrent files were all in the computer hard drive, so when I installed the latest Lubuntu all my torrent files and magnetic links were deleted.
Is there a way to reseed my files, even though all the torrent files are gone?
I'm using Lubuntu 20.04 and my torrent client is Transmission 2.94

Re: How to reseed deleted torrent files
I believe you can download the same .torrent file or magnet link, and as long as you have the same files in the same directory as before, it will seed instead of download from scratch.
Re: How to reseed deleted torrent files
Just re-download the torrent file and point it at the folder where you have the already downloaded files, the program should re-hash the files to make sure they are correct and it should show up as already downloaded once the torrent starts.
