Hi,
I had installed transmissionbt 3.0.0 as a qpkg on a NAS.
I forwarded port whatever number.
Port closed, states the webinterface of transmission
I forwareded port 21, 80to the same NAs, and voila, yougetsignal.com reports that the ports are open
I deleted this qpkg and installed version 2.9.4
Same story. Forwarded whatever port to the NAS, and voila... port is OPEn states the webinterface.
My conclusion is that version 3.0.0 states a false message regarding open port.
Thanks and goodbye.

version 3.0.0 sens false postive regarding open port
Re: version 3.0.0 sens false postive regarding open port
"port whatever number" is important and apparently you mean false negative. You could have different services use the same port number. The first to claim it wins.Mayfly wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 11:51 am Hi,
