as the title suggests, I just upgraded from r7709, and the difference is like night and day.

I don't really see anything in r7711 that should've made this improvement, but FWIW the nightlies' engine has been backported to 1.50 for other reasons... so these changes will be in 1.50 when it goes final.

peer connections are a lot faster, than pervious builds. also, like Jethryn said before - more connections are made also.

it picks up peers so fast its almost criminal..... its adding peers at a rate of around 5-10 a second, and within around 3-5 seconds, its d/l at a very respectable rate - which climbs up to my max d/l rate within about a minute.
