I can't seem to remove any torrents via the web page. Are there any steps I can take to debug?

File selecting in the web UI is in the nightlies, and will be added in 1.60.

I am on a Mac and it doesn't work on either Safari or Firefox.

I love this! I thought I was out of luck and that the fact that it always froze was simply because I am always seeding over 400 torrents. Now it's always really speedy. My only complaint now is it still takes long to open and close, but you can't expect much else when it's got 450 torrents running. Thanks!!

I'm running Ubuntu Intrepid
Since updating the web interface prompts for a login/password three times before loading. I have

"rpc-authentication-required": 0,

And

"rpc-password": "",
"rpc-username": "",

But when I visit the url of the webui, I'm prompted for the login and password. Leaving the login/pass boxes blank and hitting "Okay" continues to load the webui, but I'm prompted twice more for login (both times it accepts blank).

Also, from a command line, when I run transmission-remote -l, I get the following error:

[14:29:40.155] JSON parser failed at line 1, column 1: "<h1>401: Unautho"
[14:29:40.155] transmission-remote: Unable to parse response "<h1>401: Unauthorized</h1>Unauthorized User"

I've purged and reinstalled the packages with no luck.

Help?

FYI, apparently the transmission-daemon is not bundled in another package, but gets his own package anymore.

So if you dutifully auto-upgraded your box and find that your finely customized automated p2p downloader is now totally broken, that might be why.
