Ratio caping (or limit) didn't make it to the list of enhancements?

Nevermind, I installed it and I see the new options on transmission-remote.

The installation did not copy the web/images/buttons/info_files.png (and maybe others since I see there are many new images in that directory) file.

Hiho!

1.60b1 already seems to be a stable build. Can you please further explain how Transfer prioritization works? This seems to be a really great technology but I would like to know more about the mechanism behind it.

Thanx and keep up the excellent work guys!

Anyone seeing crazy Firefox CPU usage with this version?

Left side is looking at Web client 1.60b1, far right side is looking at version 1.52.

Oh cool, does that means a "seed until" option has been implemented?

It's the new implementation of the web-client where all file-information for each torrent is being processed (even if you didn't select any torrent, or even when there's no torrent showing in your current filter). Not ready for release I suppose.

Yes, its there... I'm still testing so don't know if it really works.

It works fine (just finished one test, the torrent stopped right on the ratio I set globally, now I'm going to test exceptions... different ratios for single torrents or no ratio cap).

I'm not sure, when the file-info extension came out long ago the problem I saw was with bandwidth use (the more torrents you had the more bandwidth the Web client used to update the list of files and their status)... but that was reported as fixed (also a long time ago)...

Anyway the CPU was not affected at the time, so this is new behavior and I'm surprised the developers didn't see a problem (CPU spikes slow everything else you are doing).

Bad advice, it is a beta version, for testing, if you use it normally many trackers will ban you.

Transmission 1.60b1 just doesn't start on my Intel iMac. Launching it ends up with the error message, suggesting me to send information about the problem to Apple. Downgraded to 1.52. Sorry for not giving you any particular info about the issue. If you will tell me how I can do that, I'll do. :)

Here's the info about my computer. The parameters' names are in Russian, but you need the digits, right?

Название модели: iMac
Идентификатор модели: iMac8,1
Имя процессора: Intel Core 2 Duo
Скорость процессора: 3.06 ГГц
Количество процессоров: 1
Общее количество ядер: 2
Кэш L2: 6 МБ
Память: 2 ГБ
Частота шины: 1.07 ГГц
Версия Boot ROM: IM81.00C1.B00
Версия SMC: 1.30f1

Running under Mac OS X 10.5.6.

Thanks anyway for the app. Apart from the current problem it's totally marvelous. :)
