How to set a default download folder
How to set a default download folder
I know this is probably a very stupid question, but I cannot figure out how to do this for some reason. I don't want my downloads to go into the same folder as the torrent file. I'd like them to go to a specific, common folder.

I'm on Yosemite (10.10 (14A389)), using Transmission (2.84 (14306))...setting a default download folder ( in Preferences ) didn't take when I first tried to set it the first couple of times, but now, just this morning I tried it again and quite inexplicably it does; could be an OS X thing, maybe i needed to reboot or smth...so it's working fine, thx for everything.
