I'm going to have to wait this version out after the bad taste 1.91 left in my mouth.

I miss using transmission guys but I can't until I don't have to worry about data loss anymore.

Freddymac32: So you posted to tell us you don't want to try our new release because there are bugs in the old version (fixed in the new version that you won't try)? Genius!

Is this going to be added to the repos for Ubuntu 9.04?

Thanks for the update.

What can I say? Awesome.

I just loaded Transmission 1.92 onto my D-Link DNS-323 NAS unit and it appears to be fantastic!! 1000% better than the D-Link supplied BT client.

Took about 6 commands and less than 5 minutes to get it installed, configured and downloading. Great job guys!

I used to get failed data with previous versions. I'm happy to report that 1.92 is working beautifully for me. I suggest those of you having similar issues on previous releases try 1.92. Awesome work guys, thanks!

Any comment on this? Or can someone please explain a way to update to 1.92 without having to build the update myself?

I did the PPA thing here, but 1.91 is still in my repos.

Thanks for any help. I"ll really appreciate it.

EDIT: Nevermind. I was FINALLY able to build/make 1.92 myself. But hopefully it gets added to the Repo of Ubuntu 9.04 soon for all the people that aren't successful at building tarz.

I'm using openSUSE 11.2, and this is the second time Transmission updated on my PC from the repo, before I saw it here. I find that kind of curious, since it is the only app that does that.

Working fine as far as I can tell. Thanks!

That repo may take a few days to update. Please be patient and it will show up.

Hate to say it guys but for some reason no matter what i try my machine freezes using 1.92.

i have noticed a pattern being that it will start off fine until the speed limits change, at this point the system just beach balls and im forced to power button reboot.

I even went as far as doing a full reinstall of my mac, with a vanilla 10.6.2 install and only transmission, same results.

Verify local data from webGUI or recheck from windows client still result in 0%. Has anyone else encountered this?

Update: Downgrade to 1.91 and still get the same result. Downgrade further to 1.83 and the problem is gone but download speed suck and seem to stop completely after a while. Will test out other older version and see if it helps, was using 1.76 before the upgrade. :?
