I have a question for you
I just installed Transmission on a fresh installed windows 8 pro 64bit
i can only download 5 torrents?
behind the other torrents i see Queued for download?
how can i download more than 5?
plz help me!

There is no Transmission version 3.24, are you asking about the same Transmission? (i.e. latest version is 2.75, latest Windows version of Transmisssion-Qt, ehem! not supported in this forum, is 2.74)
And the answer to your question is: Yes. That's what the Edit / preferences / Download / Maximum active downloads is for. Of course this is for Transmission-Qt, but you are probably using something else (perhaps Transmission Remote Gui? -- also not supported in this forum, nothing running in Windows is supported by the Transmission developers).
