Transmission-QT crash on Win10x64 Pro PC Stick

Post by RebelGTP »

I have been trying to use the Transmission-QT client on an Azulle Access3 PC stick running Windows 10 Pro x64 to interface with my Transmission Daemon running on a server at home to no avail. I have used the last stable official build and a few nightlies over the course of the past 8 months and I still get an appcrash after trying to connect to the server.

The most recent nightly I just tried is transmission-2.94+-r3d9fd25269-x64.msi (build 201) and I captured Event Log data referring to LIBEAY32.dll that I have included below.

Same here with Transmission 2.94 x64 under Windows 10 1909.
I solved it changing 'libeay32.dll' that comes with Transmission (v1.0.2.7) with v1.0.2.15 I found here:
https://es.dll-files.com/download/5ab9c ... 5uRFFkUT09

Thank you for pointing me about libeay32.dll.

You're welcome. That version of the Dll worked in the aforementioned Win10x64 environment on the PC Stick. Thanks

Registered an account on here to say thank you! That worked. Using a Zotac P1335 pico, Intel Celeron N4100, 4gb RAM, Windows 10 Pro 1909. Kept crashing when trying to start local session, but libeay32.dll v1.0.2.21 worked great!
