which version of transmission should i get?

I dont think Transmission is available for Windows in a binary. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... em_support has a list of various clients and their features

If you want a good version of Transmission, try using Ubuntu or another linux distro on computer instead of windows
