plz Help Disable DHT in transmission 1.54

Hi,

how do I disable dht in there ??
I dont see that option anywhere..

Also the torrent is set private and PEX is off, but it doesnt seem to make DHT off so..
from where do I turn it of ??

I'm on an iMac G5 / Tiger (10.4) and therefore using transmission 1.54 (8615)

The situation is that I uploaded a private torrent on a private tracker using a private addy. Yet, after uploading only 88mb og a 1gb file, 8 person already got the whole thing and are seeding it.. which seems impossible.. so I contacted the admin to ask whats that about, and I was told to immidiately disable the DHT and that it wasnt allowed.

I thought my settings were pretty secure, so I dont get it..
I also can't find where to disable that DHT thingy.

DHT is only used with public torrents, not private ones.

1.54 is really, really old though. I would recommend upgrading to a newer version.

Isnt this version the latest one that can work on my computer ?
I did provide the my computer's infos ..

Ah, I'm sorry. Yes you did say that.

DHT probably isn't the issue here. The tracker is referring to the practice of getting peers via DHT for a private torrent, which is not something that 1.54 does (nor, to the best of my knowledge, does any other version of Transmission).

The reason I was thinking about upgrading is that it's been so long since I looked at 1.54 that I don't remember what bugs it has.

1.54 doesn't support DHT, so it's a non-issue. DHT was added in 1.70.
