IPv6 error reports in log on Openwrt

Post by Johan81 »

Hey all, I have these kind of errors in my log and a lot of them:

Code: Select all

Fri Jul 25 12:52:18 2014 daemon.err transmission-daemon[10901]: Couldn't connect socket 40 to 2001:0:9d38:6abd:142b:2582:bb9c:f23, port 21724 (errno 1 - Operation not permitted) (net.c:288)
Now I know that it has to do with IPv6 and my ISP doesn't support IPv6 at the moment, so it is only logical that Transmission has errors as I have come to understand that you cannot disable IPv6 in Transmission.
Though my question is, do these errors hurt the performance in any way? Does it tax the CPU/RAM significantly or does it hurt the up/download speed? Or can I just ignore these errors?
