I configured transmission to watch for files in a network folder, shared over nfs. The problem is, when I add a .torrent on this shared folder from another computer, the torrent does not start. But it works when a file is added from the machine that runs transmission.
The main point I see is that files added from another computer are owned by a user which do not exists on the transmission server, even if added if 777 permissions. Is that a known issue? Has anyone any idea how to fix that? Ideally I would prefer not using another shared folder directly on the server.
BTW, transmission is running on a Raspberry pi 3 with ArchLinux aarch64.
