Cant delete files once ive stopped seeding

Post by Primera16 »

Hi i installed transmission using this guide (https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 36&t=51219) and had it working fine till it came time to make room for new torrents, there wasnt enough room on the 128gb usb otg (ext4) drive to download, so i used the remote transmission app to remove torrent and delete data, turns out it removes the torrent fine but leaves the data in place.

Tried using the rm -r on the dir i wanted to delete but it just gives me "-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `(' "

I even tried taking the usb out and putting it in the pc to delete files using ext2fsd and it looks like they have been deleted but when plugged in the pi files are still there.

Any help greatly appreciated as im at a total loss.
